autumn escape

When was the last time you gave yourself a little permission to escape and get lost in a good read...
or baked something so delightful.  I made these sweet individual apple pie cookies from smitten kitchen.
Tell me, what sort of escapes do you have planned for the weekend?
A good book, a recipe or an outing?

Love your Autumn escape art...takes me away! My sweetie is home from another business trip so I hope to escape on a drive and see what's left of the fall colors..pick up pumpkins and carve them tonight.
Hope you have a great weekend!

Hopefully enjoy the beautiful day (moon still out). Set up for an event, and dinner tonight with friends. I'm happy food photos were cancelled for today. Still not up to feeling my mojo. :) Your cookies look good. Enjoy! xo

Today is my birthday so I am sitting by a fire and my sweet husband is picking up my favorite breakfast. The kids cleaned up the kitchen...well sort of.

the cookies look so good. I might have to try that recipe.

This weekend it's just Drew and me doing fall festivals, baseball, birthday parties, and hopefully a little walk in the woods.

Enjoy!

The illustration is great and those mini pies are too cute. My autumn day today consisted of cleaning out the garage. Not exactly an escape, but I'll appreciate it this Winter now that my car can fit in the garage.
